Charismatic Spanish-born guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas makes his 92Y debut in a program that journeys across the Americas, .much of it drawn from his latest album, Americano, which debuted on the top 15 of Billboard’s Classical Crossover chart. At just 15 he won the Andrés Segovia Award, followed by other honors, including the Gold Medal at the inaugural Christopher Parkening International Guitar Competition.
