It is with great pride that we congratulate cellist Zlatomir Fung as a 2020 recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant. Given to talented instrumentalists believed to have great potential for solo careers, Fung will receive an award stipend of $25,000 to use for specific needs in furthering his career.

Recipients are nominated by the Avery Fisher Program's Recommendation Board. Final selections are made by an Executive Committee represented by some of the most prominent artists and presenters throughout the United States.
