Recognized by The New York Times for his "exquisitely sensitive playing" and "stunning agility," GRAMMY nominated mandolinist Avi Avital will release his debut album for the Deutsche Grammophon label on June 12. The all-Bach disc features Avi's own transcriptions of concertos best known in their incarnations for harpsichord or violin as well as the Sonata in e Minor, originally for flute and basso continuo.
