BACH RECONSIDERED: ANDRAS SCHIFF

Twenty-five years ago, pianist Andras Schiff recorded the complete preludes and fugues of the Well-Tempered Clavier by J.S. Bach. Over time, Schiff says that this music that his relationship with this music that he performs every morning has changed slightly. He hears different nuances and colors than he did as a young man. PT host Fred Child sat down with Andras Schiff recently at the 92nd Street Y in New York to take a long look at the the subtleties, nuances and challenges of this music.
