Danish String Quartet Joins Kirshbaum Demler

Kirshbaum Demler & Associates is delighted to announce the North American representation of the Danish String Quartet, named to Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's prestigious CMS Two program on January 31, 2012.

As First prize winners at the 2009 London International String Quartet Competition, the jury was thoroughly convinced of the quartet's qualities and awarded the ensemble four additional prizes: The 20th Century Prize, the Beethoven Prize, the Sidney Griller Award, and the Menton Festival Prize. In 2011, the quartet was awarded the highly prestigious Carl Nielsen Prize.

The quartet, all under the age of thirty, draws attention for its highly committed musicianship and enthralling style, becoming the most promising news in the classical music world in Denmark.
