The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) invites families to experience the joy of live chamber music with fun, interactive concerts at Meet the Music!, a series of three performances designed for children 7 and up with their families, Sundays at 2pm at Alice Tully Hall.

CMS, one of the most prestigious chamber music organizations in the world, offers families the chance to discover the humor, creativity, and excitement of chamber music in a fun, interactive setting at Alice Tully Hall. CMS artists delight in sharing share their world class artistry with young listeners. 

Composer and performer Bruce Adolphe is the ever-curious Inspector Pulse, the world’s greatest (and only!) private ear. He invites kids to participate and engage directly with the music throughout each show. Before each concert, children can visit the popular instrument “petting zoo," where they can touch and play the instruments they’re about to hear (in the Alice Tully Hall lobby, from 1pm to 1:50 pm). Each performance lasts about an hour — just right for young listeners — and offers a playful, engaging introduction to classical music, including a Q&A session at the end of the show. The season launches on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 2pm.

Inspector Pulse (aka composer and radio personality Bruce Adolphe) is back on the job, investigating musical mysteries on a fantastical journey. He explores enchanting fairy tales from around the world as they are brought to life through music and storytelling! Including music by Schumann, Stravinsky, and more.
