Legendary pianist Sir András Schiff returns to North America in November 2023 for a series of recitals, often described as unique and unforgettable experiences. The great pianist’s authoritative, profoundly considered performances are often combined with invaluable spoken introductions to the works he plays. To maintain an element of surprise and spontaneity, Mr. Schiff now prefers to announce the program from the stage at each concert In April, 2024, Mr. Schiff joins the Philadelphia Orchestra to conduct and perform piano concertos by Haydn and Mozart and Schubert’s second symphony.
